After many years of being with British Gas and finding standards slipping, we changed to Hometree. Signing up went smoothly and our boiler has been serviced without any bother. I wanted to ask a question and phoned in. I could not believe that I got through to a very nice lady within a couple of minutes.

Had leaking sewer pipe from loft conversion. Phoned Thursday pm, someone out to look Friday pm. (access difficult). Following week, at a time that suited both parties, repair carried out. I had to make my first call to Hometree on Monday, I was connected to someone within about 10 seconds. After giving my details and outlining the issue I was asked ” will you be home this afternoon”. They arranged an Engineer Visit the same day. The engineer arrived as promised and sorted the problem. Great Service and excellent communication. Well Done.

After being with British Gas Homecare for over twenty years, I decided to switch to Hometree and am so pleased I did. I’ve had quite a few problems with my heating system which British Gas failed to rectify…they said they’d order the parts but never did…. but Hometree sorted out all the faults in no time. Their heating engineers are highly professional, extremely efficient and know what they’re doing and It’s easy to book a repair and service online, no hanging around on the phone waiting for someone to pick up. They’re communication is excellent and they’re very reasonably priced compared to British Gas. If you’re looking for home cover these are the people I would highly recommend to go to.

I was able to arrange a repair date with the engineer which was confirmed by the customer care team. He attended and fixed it within 15 minutes. I was updated regularly and liked that Hometree work with local contractors. I’d only recently signed up with Hometree in October and am glad that I chose them for their excellent service and customer care!

Following an extortionate renewal fee from British Gas Homecare I searched for alternative cover. Hometree offered me a perfect solution offering the same cover I enjoyed with British Gas for nearly half the price. Clearly the success of any insurance is when you have to make a claim and the efficiency this is dealt with. I’m confident that Hometree will provide the effective cover I’m looking for.
